Holding on to summer – Rosemary Paloma

The end of August is hard for us Chicagoans… the end of our precious summertime Chi. This year has been especially difficult, for obvious reasons, but we are making the most of it and trying to get outside as much as possible. Long outdoor walks, picnics and balcony hangs. And before we welcome in the pumpkin spice lattes, we are holding on to summer with our go-to cocktail this summer – the Rosemary Paloma, AKA Paloma Romero!

This drink is super refreshing and the perfect for a warm summer night!

Here is what you will need:

  • Tequila of choice
  • Grapefruit tonic or soda
  • Sparkling water
  • Lemon
  • Rosemary

Equal parts tequila and grapefruit tonic on ice – I will usually do a double shot. You can use more or less of each depending on your personal preference.

Add a squeeze or two of lemon juice, and top off with your favorite sparking water. We typically use whatever LaCroix flavor we have on hand.

And finally, garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of rosemary. So easy!

Cheers, amigas!

Until next time,

Jannette
